Job Description Job Description Molding Technician 2nd shiftOTTO's opportunity:OurMolding Technician 2nd shift is a senior position responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process. This includes, but is not limited to setup and tear down, troubleshooting, training, equipment maintenance and workflow.Specifically, the Molding Technician 2nd shift will:Perform all tasks of the Molding Machine Operator and Molding Technician Trainee positions as neededSetup molding machines per production schedulesConfirm proper material use, per BOM'sPerform quarterly material inventoryAssist in reduction of scrapPerform advance Tool changeovers as requiredRun samples and formulate processAssist in maintaining departmental RoutersTrouble shoot complicated processing problemsAssist with other related duties as required or assignedTraining of new employeesOptimize existing processesDemonstrate leadership skillsWhat you'll need to bring to the table:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 5-year Injection Molding experienceExperienced with tool changeoversAbility to lift 50 lbs. Shoulder height with assistance as necessaryReliable attendanceAbility to differentiate between colorsAvailable for nonstandard or extended work schedulesGood communication skillsModerate personal computer skillsKnowledge of inspection tools and their useWhat OTTO offers for this specific position:The hiring range listed in this posting is what we, in good faith, anticipate relying on when confirming an hourly rate for this position; exceptions may be considered for highly experienced candidates with multiple years of at-level experience.Target hourly hiring range: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.Profit Sharing Bonus - OTTO believes that it's fair to share the profits that the employees help to make; profit sharing is distributed to employees twice a year.
