Position Title: Molding Supervisor (3rd Shift) General Description Supervise the molding department resources, schedules, & equipment Responsibilities Supervise employeesParticipate in the analysis of product rejectionsAssure completion of the production scheduleProvide support and training to the employees.Participate in problem solving teamsInsure the quality of the product, by monitoring the compliance of the quality requirements and criteriaSupervise compliance with the area's procedures and instructionsMonitor the reliability of the processesParticipate in the responses to customer complaintsSupervise and provide corrective actions for the production performance indicators using fast responseImplement continuous improvement programs in the production areaUtilize business systems for decision making and ensure accuracy.Implement inventory and scrap reduction projects. Participate in TFT activities and report out.Comply with the quality and environment standards procedures and instructions (those applicable)All those activity's generated as a result of changes, requirements and/or improvement in the process of the applicable areaIdentify safety risks and concernsAct on any safety risks and concerns that could cause harm to employeesVerify all paperwork and MES data are correctFollow escalation policyVerify employees payrollProvide Employee evaluation/reviewsPerform any disciplinary corrective actions to employees or incident reports as required.Report out daily production requirements to production team and follow up all prioritiesVerify inventory cycle counts.Verify sorts are completed and all documentation is properly filled out.Verify Non-Conforming is dispositionAbility to identify process improvements for daily KPIFollow up on all employees abilitiesVerify all SPC, purge, dip Test and secondary requirements are completed and within spec.Work with other departments as needed to ensure customer requirements are metVerify all check sheets are completed within all areas of the departmentEnsure operator compliance with 6S, standard work, safety and quality standards and proceduresTreat employees with respect to increase productivity Job Requirements Work Experience2-3 year supervisory experience in automotive environment.EducationPrefer College Degree advanced degree desirablePrefer 6 sigma green belt minimumKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesThe ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to interact with hourly employees and managementBasic understanding of sound inventory practicesAbility to complete assigned projects on time in a changing environmentDemonstrate good ethical characteristics and behaviorsAbility to perform tasks using Microsoft software; Word, Excel etc.Basic Applied statisticsQuality and environmental systemsHandling of chemical substances and hazardous residuesControl of spilled substancesPIc8a00f72e8d9-5483
