Job Description

Overview

The Module Development Engineer at INTEL is responsible for driving technology development and enablement for high volume manufacturing and future technology. This role includes providing process integration and equipment solutions, managing feasibility studies, and developing sophisticated manufacturing processes to meet the specifications of new products.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of manufacturing processes and repair reverse engineering.
  • Perform pathfinding activities to support hardware and process development.
  • Recommend and implement modifications for equipment to improve production efficiency.
  • Conduct process technology feasibility studies using engineering methods.
  • Partner with suppliers to develop and implement technology enabling elements.

Required skills

  • PhD or Master's/Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a rela
  • 4+ years (PhD) or 6+ years (Master's) or 9+ years (Bachelor's) of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in dry etch semiconductor manufacturing and complex process optimization.
  • Strong understanding of plasma etch fundamentals and advanced trends.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and DOE methodologies using tools like JMP, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
