Overview

The Module Development Engineer at INTEL is responsible for driving technology development for high-volume manufacturing and future technologies. This role involves process integration, equipment solution development, and conducting feasibility studies to ensure device specifications are met. The engineer will focus on advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes and will collaborate with key equipment and materials suppliers.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of advanced manufacturing processes and reverse engineering.
  • Perform feasibility studies and pathfinding activities for process and hardware development.
  • Recommend modifications for equipment to enhance production efficiency and output.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement technological advancements.
  • Stay updated on industrial trends to support Intel's future process technology needs.

Required skills

  • PhD or Master's degree in a relevant STEM field with significant industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience in dry etch semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of plasma etch fundamentals.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and DOE methodologies using JMP, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Experience with advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment in cleanroom settings.
  • Knowledge of advanced dry etch technologies and device architectures.
