Overview

The Module Development Engineer at INTEL will drive technology development for high volume manufacturing and future technologies. This role involves leading the design and development of sophisticated manufacturing processes, performing feasibility studies, and partnering with suppliers to enhance production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive technology development and enablement for high volume manufacturing.
  • Lead design and development of manufacturing processes and repair reverse engineering.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to meet device specifications.
  • Perform optimization and parameter adjustments for material selection and equipment.
  • Recommend modifications for operating equipment to enhance production efficiency.
  • Partner with equipment and materials suppliers for technology development.
  • Stay updated on industrial process and material manufacturing trends.
  • Develop roadmaps for future technology needs.

Required skills

  • PhD or Master's/Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or relate
  • 4+ years of relevant experience for PhD, 6+ years for Master's, or 9+ years for Bachelor's.
  • Hands-on experience in dry etch semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Strong command of plasma etch fundamentals.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and DOE methodologies using JMP, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Experience with advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom.
  • Proven ability to lead technical problem solving across projects.
