Job Description

Overview

The Module Development Engineer at Intel will drive technology development and enablement for high volume manufacturing while also leading the design and development of sophisticated manufacturing processes. This role requires extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes and involves collaborating with equipment and materials suppliers to develop innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of manufacturing processes and repair reverse engineering.
  • Perform feasibility studies and develop roadmaps for new technologies.
  • Recommend modifications to improve production efficiency and output.
  • Partner with suppliers to implement enabling elements of technology.
  • Stay updated on industrial process trends and develop future technology needs.

Required skills

  • PhD in relevant engineering or science field with 4+ years of experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or Bachelor's with
  • Hands-on experience in dry etch semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of plasma etch fundamentals and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and DOE methodologies using JMP, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Experience with advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
