Overview

The Module Development Engineer at Intel will drive technology development for both high volume manufacturing and future technology. This role includes providing process integration and equipment solutions, leading the design of advanced manufacturing processes, and performing feasibility studies to meet device specifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive technology development and enablement for high volume manufacturing and future technologies.
  • Lead design and development of advanced manufacturing processes and repair reverse engineering.
  • Perform feasibility studies through theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods.
  • Optimize production techniques and improve equipment efficiency for existing products.
  • Collaborate with equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling technology elements.
  • Stay updated on industrial process trends to inform future technology needs.

Required skills

  • PhD or Master's degree in relevant STEM fields with extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience in dry etch semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Strong command of plasma etch fundamentals, including profile control and defect mechanisms.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and DOE methodologies using tools like JMP, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Technical problem-solving skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Familiarity with advanced dry etch technologies and device architectures.
