Overview

The Module Development Engineer at Intel will drive technology development and enablement for high volume manufacturing and future technology. The role involves providing process integration and equipment solutions, performing feasibility studies, and developing sophisticated manufacturing processes to meet device specifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of manufacturing processes and reverse engineering
  • Perform feasibility studies and pathfinding activities for innovative device architectures
  • Collaborate with equipment and material suppliers on technology elements
  • Recommend modifications to improve production efficiency and optimize output
  • Stay updated on industrial trends and contribute to future technology roadmaps

Required skills

  • PhD or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM fiel
  • 4+ years of relevant experience for PhD, 6+ years for Master's, or 9+ years for Bachelor's
  • Hands-on experience in dry etch semiconductor manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of plasma etch fundamentals and dry etch technologies
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and DOE methodologies using tools like JMP, Python, or MATLAB
  • Experience with troubleshooting advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Familiarity with materials and device characterization techniques
