Overview

The Module Development Engineer at Intel will drive technology development for high volume manufacturing and future technology, focusing on process integration and equipment solutions. This role involves designing and developing complex manufacturing processes, conducting feasibility studies, and collaborating with equipment and material suppliers to enhance production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of sophisticated manufacturing processes and reverse engineering
  • Conduct feasibility studies for process technology using theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods
  • Perform pathfinding activities to enable innovative device architectures
  • Implement modifications to improve production efficiency and manufacturing techniques
  • Develop roadmaps for technologies that support future product needs
  • Collaborate with key suppliers for technology implementation and enhancements

Required skills

  • PhD or Master's/Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a rela
  • 4+ years of relevant experience with a PhD, 6+ years with a Master's, or 9+ years with a Bachelor's
  • Experience in dry etch semiconductor manufacturing and process optimization
  • Strong command of plasma etch fundamentals and dry etch process solutions
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and DOE methodologies using tools like JMP, Python, or MATLAB
  • Experience in cleanroom environments, troubleshooting semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Experience with advanced dry etch technologies and device characterization techniques
