Job Description

Overview

As a Mobile Trailer Technician at TEN (Transportation Equipment Network), you will be responsible for travelling to customer locations to perform trailer inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. This hands-on role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service in the field and offers competitive pay along with opportunities for career growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs
  • Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
  • Repair and replace trailer components including brake systems, suspension systems, and electrical wiring
  • Perform welding and fabrication work as required
  • Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
  • Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle
  • Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Required skills

  • Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • CDL and DOT experience considered an asset
