Job Description Job Description HireLevel is hiring multiple Machine/Mixer Operators in Evansville, IN.The Mixer Operator is responsible for producing batches of material in accordance with customer and company specifications. This role involves weighing raw materials, operating industrial mixers, monitoring batch quality, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and troubleshooting mixing issues. The Mixer Operator plays a key role in ensuring product quality, safety, and efficient production.Our client is a leading manufacturer of automotive adhesive and sealant solutions, headquartered in Evansville, Indiana. The company delivers high-performance products that support light weighting, NVH reduction, and bonding and finishing applications through a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.Location: Evansville, INShift: All ShiftsPay: $23 - $25/hr.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesReview mixing schedules and batch ticketsProduce batches following established proceduresAccurately weigh and verify raw materialsInspect drums and equipment before useSafely dump completed batches from mixersCommunicate shift-to-shift updates and special instructionsMonitor production for abnormalities and stop production when issues occurNotify leadership and Quality Assurance of any issuesMaintain proper batch identification and documentationComplete batch records, reports, and SAP entries accuratelyKeep work areas clean, organized, and safety-compliantFollow FIFO inventory practices and safety requirementsOperate a forklift and handle hazardous materials as requiredInspect and test drums and finished batchesAdditional Responsibilities (Level 3 & 4 Operators Only)Train new Mixer Operator trainees (Level 2 operators may assist as trainers at management discretion)Produce trial batches for Research & Development and Product DevelopmentManufacture highly critical products designated for Level 3 or 4 operators onlyPerform specialized dispensing and cleaning for highly critical products as assignedQualifications & SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and attention-to-detail skillsAbility to follow procedures and batch specifications preciselyUnderstanding of FIFO inventory principlesProficiency or willingness to learn SAPStrong training and mentoring skills (Level 3 & 4)Forklift operation skills or ability to obtain certificationPhysical RequirementsFrequently lifting up to 60 lbs; occasional lifting over 60 lbsProlonged standing and moving throughout the facilityFrequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawlingFine motor skills and regular handling of large itemsAbility to maintain focus and attention to detailWho is HireLevel?HireLevel is not just your average HR solutions company; we're the wizards of recruitment, payroll, and all things HR.
