Overview

BURNCO Rock Products Ltd. is seeking a Mixer Driver based in Lethbridge, Alberta, to provide exceptional customer service through concrete delivery and pouring. The role involves operating well-maintained trucks and requires candidates to be safety-conscious and motivated, with a strong emphasis on communication and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Operating a Ready-Mix truck in urban areas and tight construction sites
  • Performing routine equipment maintenance
  • Contributing to keeping locations clean and hazard free
  • Learning and adhering to company safety protocols
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Class 1 or 3 CDL with air brake endorsement
  • Safe driving record with a clean commercial driver's abstract
  • Concrete mixer truck driving experience preferred
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Computer savvy
  • City driving experience
  • Ability to drive standard or manual transmission
  • Flexibility to work weekends and short notice
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including Drug and Alcohol screen and Fitness to Work testing
