Overview

The Mining Account Manager at Wajax Limited is responsible for managing the sales of equipment and related products in the Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan territories, primarily within the mining sector. This role involves promoting Hitachi excavators and trucks, developing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage sales of equipment and related products
  • Promote and sell Hitachi excavators and mining accessories
  • Collaborate with local product support for customer satisfaction
  • Act as a customer representative and focal point for communication
  • Prepare detailed quotations and product presentations
  • Establish and maintain key relationships within the mining sector
  • Liaise with mining engineering firms and consultants
  • Travel extensively within assigned territories

Required skills

  • 5-10 years of mining and/or construction sales experience
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment and mining applications
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Self-motivated and strategic thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel 50-60%
