Job Description

Overview

Manpower is seeking a Millwright (433A) for a weekend shift at a manufacturing facility in Brampton. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a valid red seal maintenance millwright designation, along with strong electrical knowledge and skills in various maintenance practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance for all process and production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair process and production equipment
  • Fabricate and weld to repair, modify or improve equipment
  • Utilize the company EAM system to manage parts, work orders and PMs
  • Participate in safety initiatives and promote a clean work environment
  • Safely operate forklift during maintenance tasks
  • Assist in scheduling and organizing the annual plant shut-down period
  • Complete individual and team objectives focused on continuous improvement

Required skills

  • Valid red seal maintenance millwright designation
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance related work experience
  • Preventative maintenance practices
  • Knowledge of conveyors, drives, motors, electrical/hydraulics, PLCs
  • Experience with online systems for part ordering, stocking, work orders
  • Forklift operation
  • Microsoft Office Suite literacy
  • Welding and blueprint reading skills
  • Strong organizational skills

What the company offers

  • Hourly wage of $50-$53/hr
  • Time and a half pay on Fridays and Saturdays
  • Double time pay on Sundays
