Job Description

Overview

As a Licensed Millwright at Cargill, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing equipment to support food production operations. This hands-on position takes place in a fast-paced environment where mechanical expertise is essential for ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
  • Operate motorized vehicles and equipment
  • Follow all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Millwright License
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Welding certification or other trade experience
  • Forklift certification
  • Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
  • Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
  • Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Able to work in confined spaces
