If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America - we want to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLE As a member of the Stouffville site team, the Mill Helper will execute the daily tasks of cleaning, monitoring and maintaining the Sand and Gravel Plant in accordance with Amrize Best Practices and Policies as well as perform all administration related to the equipment maintenance. This is a night shift position.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Promote safety culture through engagement with employees, subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure site meets or exceeds all Amrize and Regulatory guidelines. Ensure that plant and surrounding site is kept safe, presentable, and functional. Support the Environmental Department to develop, implement and manage operational standards to manage activities and mitigate environmental impact. Ensure assigned equipment is operated and maintained to original equipment manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. Perform daily inspections as part of preventative maintenance program to ensure maintenance is scheduled and completed as required. Wash plant and equipment to remove material buildup resulting from spillages. Support effective relationships within the community by participating in local activities/events. Perform other duties as assigned to assist in the efficient operation of the plant and site. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Canadian secondary school diploma or equivalent. Industrial plant operation and maintenance experience is an asset. Heavy equipment operation experience is an asset. Mechanical aptitude, specific mobile equipment training, and Forklift and Skidsteer operation. Computer literacy is an asset. Action oriented, organizing, priority setting, problem solving, time management, and written communications. Additional Requirements: First Aid Surface Miner Confined Space Working at Heights LOTOTO Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
