Overview

Solstice Consulting Group is looking for a Lead Midstream Field Service Specialist to oversee regional operations in the Northeast for oil and gas equipment services. This remote position involves significant travel and requires an experienced professional to provide technical guidance, ensure HSEQ compliance, and deliver high-quality service to clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and support field operations, including complex job troubleshooting
  • Provide training and skill development for new and existing technicians
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of midstream systems
  • Ensure execution of preventive maintenance programs and inspections
  • Serve as the primary field contact for customer communication and service
  • Support parts recommendations in collaboration with sales and operations teams
  • Provide support for PLCs and automation systems
  • Complete and review service documentation and field reports
  • Identify trends and improvement opportunities in field operations

Required skills

  • 8+ years of oil and gas field service experience
  • Experience with dehydration and gas processing systems
  • Technical leadership and troubleshooting expertise
  • Familiarity with PLCs, instrumentation, and automation systems
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of HSEQ practices
