Overview

Mueller Christensen LLP is seeking a Mid-Senior Litigation Associate with over 5 years of experience to join their growing boutique litigation firm in Lake Forest, California. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished litigator capable of managing cases, engaging in motion practice, and supervising junior attorneys while collaborating closely with partners on legal strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Command written discovery
  • Take and defend depositions independently
  • Draft, argue, and defend motions
  • Appear in court prepared and composed
  • Manage cases from initial pleadings through resolution or trial
  • Supervise and develop junior attorneys on active matters

Required skills

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active California Bar membership in good standing
  • At least 5 years of civil or probate litigation experience
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Experience managing cases and deadlines independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills
