Overview

The Microwave Operator for the 2nd shift at JTM Food Group is responsible for the physical movement of raw materials and ensuring proper tracking within the company's Ross Business system. The role involves handling heavy weights and performing quality tests on received loads.

Key responsibilities

  • Stack raw products to meet specifications for further processing
  • Use hand-held scanners to assign raw goods to License Plates for tracking
  • Test raw goods using handheld power drill
  • Observe and assess the quality of newly received loads
  • Organize and clean the immediate work area and refrigerated storage areas

Required skills

  • Ability to lift up to eighty pounds
  • General understanding of computer technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Problem-solving and customer service abilities
  • Familiarity with small power tools
  • Strong math and organizational skills
