Overview In this role you will design and deliver data visualizations and reports to empower business decisions using MicroStrategy. You'll work with stakeholders across functions to translate data needs into insightful dashboards, supporting the full BI lifecycle from requirements to deployment. The position emphasizes hands-on analytics, SQL data mining, and integrating MicroStrategy with Hadoop, with additional exposure to Tableau and ETL tools. This is a Global Delivery setting in the financial domain. ResponsibilitiesDevelop reports and dashboards in MicroStrategy (and related visualizations)Translate business data needs into clear visualizations for decision-makingUnderstand MicroStrategy architecture and support end-to-end BI lifecycleCollaborate with business stakeholders to define data models, visual design, and deploymentWrite SQL to perform initial data mining and communicate results to ETL developersPossibly integrate MicroStrategy with Hadoop; leverage Tableau when applicableApply data modelling and design standards for implementationExperience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Pentaho) is a plusWork in a global delivery environment with diverse stakeholdersExperience in the financial domain Key requirementsBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent; or 4 years of progressive experience in ITAt least 4 years of IT experienceProficiency in MicroStrategy and SQL; strong analytical skillsExperience with data modelling and visualization designExperience with ETL tools (Talend, Pentaho) and familiarity with Hadoop integration is a plusExperience in a global delivery environment and cross-functional collaborationKnowledge of Tableau is a definite plusFinancial domain experience (preferred)Strong analytical skillsTeam collaboration in diverse stakeholder environmentsEffective communication with business stakeholdersMicroStrategySQLHadoop integration (preferred)
