Overview

The Micro & Small Business Development Specialist role at Cuso International involves working as a volunteer in Kingston, Jamaica, to develop and implement a Scale-Up Readiness Diagnostic Tool for micro, small, and medium enterprises. The position is critical for empowering businesses to become market-ready and investment-ready, addressing key areas such as governance and financial management.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a Scale-Up Readiness Diagnostic Tool for MSMEs.
  • Consult with organizations to deploy and evaluate the Diagnostic Tool.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and their team during the assessment process.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in organizational management, business administration, or related discipline.
  • Experience in strategic planning and business management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to deliver training.
