Overview

Trusted Medical, PLLC is seeking qualified physicians to support the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) program in Dallas, Texas. This role is essential for ensuring that individuals entering military service meet required health and fitness standards, thus contributing to the preparedness of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive medical examinations and administrative steps in compliance with DoD and MEPS protocols
  • Review medical histories and lab results to evaluate applicants' fitness for duty
  • Document findings accurately and complete required forms within established timelines
  • Identify and communicate any medical conditions that may impact eligibility for military service
  • Collaborate with MEPS staff and healthcare professionals for efficient processing of applicants
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Nurse Practitioner, MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified and Board Eligible
  • Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
  • Board certification in primary care specialty
  • Minimum 1 year of post-graduate clinical experience or direct patient care
  • Current BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
  • Strong knowledge of comprehensive physical examinations
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with DoD medical standards and protocols
  • Proficiency with MHS Genesis electronic health records system
