The role is r esponsible for building positive relationships with American Airlines Credit Union members, which is key in understanding member needs and recommending appropriate products and services to fulfill those needs. What you'll do Open new accounts, sell and process Credit Union services for new and existing membersPost deposits and process loan paymentsProcess various monetary transactions and maintain account informationPerform Notary Services as requiredCreate and promote positive name recognition for the Credit Union Work with branch/department managers and leverage cross-selling opportunitiesResearch member inquiries and provide solutions as required in a timely mannerMaintain awareness of all branch functions and duties to provide proper support and coverage at all timesImplement and enforce internal control and security measures in accordance with Credit Union policies and government regulationsFoster a culture that promotes teamwork, service excellence and relationship building within the covered branches and overall organizationPerform loan interviews, processing and disbursement activities, as assigned by managerMay work a rotating Saturday schedule depending on job locationPerform other duties as assignedThe selected individual will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience High school diploma or GEDMust be able to work in-person at assigned branch locationMust have cash handling, sales, or a combination of customer service and financial institution experience within the last twelve monthsJob level to be determined by the candidate's skills, qualifications and relevant consumer loan processing or underwrriting experience Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience College degree in business, finance, or related area, or equivalent financial services experience, or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functionsPrevious banking or Credit Union experiencePrevious experience in a service-culture environment Skills, Licenses & CertificationsSkilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the softwareMust fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicableAbility to exercise excellent member service skillsAbility to perform in a service-culture environment with a desire to cross sell Credit Union products and servicesAbility to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a teamAbility to interact professionally with all employees and membersAbility to speak, read, and write in English is required; Spanish is a plus Ability to work independently and with minimal supervisionAbility to perform basic math calculations and analyze dataAbility to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detailAbility to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlinesAbility to sit and/or stan
