Job Description

Overview

The Member Service Representative (MSR) at GreenState Credit Union provides quality and professional member service during daily transactions and inquiries. This role is critical as the first point of contact for members, focusing on member satisfaction, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the credit union environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Adhere to Credit Union Service Standards in alignment with GreenState's mission.
  • Demonstrate a positive member service focus, greeting members and guests promptly.
  • Ensure confidentiality of member information and account records.
  • Make outbound service calls to members each week.
  • Assist with member account discrepancies and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Conduct various member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Build relationships with members by understanding their financial needs.
  • Educate members on the features and benefits of credit union products.
  • Participate in opening and closing procedures of the branch.
  • Monitor and manage cash handling and vault operations.
  • Engage in community service and represent the Credit Union positively.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
