Job Description

Overview

The Member Service Representative (MSR) at GreenState Credit Union is responsible for delivering professional member service and support during daily transactions and inquiries. They serve as the first point of contact for members, ensuring accurate and timely assistance with Credit Union products and services while promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional member service and support during transactions
  • Ensure confidentiality of member information and accounts
  • Make outbound service calls to members
  • Assist with resolving member account discrepancies and complaints
  • Perform various member transactions like deposits, withdrawals, and payments
  • Educate members on Credit Union products and services
  • Maintain a satisfactory balancing record and manage cash vault
  • Participate in community service events

Required skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
  • Proficiency with computer applications and databases
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Experience in customer service and cash handling
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
