Overview

The Member Service Representative (MSR) at GreenState Credit Union provides quality, responsive, and professional service to members in daily transactions and inquiries. This role is essential as it acts as the front line of service for the credit union, building member relationships and ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all services rendered.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent member service and support to all members and staff.
  • Perform transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
  • Handle member inquiries, account discrepancies, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Make outbound service calls and educate members on products and services.
  • Maintain confidentiality of member information and account records.
  • Participate in community service and Credit Union sponsored events.
  • Balance cash and transactions as part of daily procedures.

Required skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
  • Experience in customer service and sales.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, spreadsheets, and database management.
  • Problem-solving skills related to member accounts.
