Overview

The Member Service Representative (MSR) at GreenState Credit Union is responsible for providing quality, responsive, and professional service to members and staff during daily transactions and inquiries. This front-line role requires a member-focused attitude, accuracy in handling transactions, and the ability to build relationships with members while adhering to the credit union's mission and values.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide member service with a focus on quality and professionalism
  • Assist with member account transactions and inquiries
  • Educate members on products and services
  • Maintain confidentiality of member information
  • Make weekly outbound service calls to members
  • Resolve member account discrepancies and complaints
  • Participate in community service events
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and security protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals

Required skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
  • Experience in customer service and sales
  • Ability to build and maintain member relationships
  • Proficiency with computer applications, spreadsheets, and databases
