Overview

The Member Service Associate at GreenState Credit Union is responsible for enhancing member relationships while delivering exceptional service. The role involves meeting sales expectations through personalized service and teamwork, all while upholding the values and mission of the credit union.

Key responsibilities

  • Acquire, expand, and enrich member relationships
  • Provide positive member service and greet members professionally
  • Ensure confidentiality of member information
  • Conduct sales activities to meet member needs
  • Participate in community service and credit union events
  • Balance cash drawer accurately and adhere to cash handling policies
  • Make outbound sales calls to members
  • Profile members to identify opportunities for additional business
  • Handle loan applications and work with underwriters
  • Stay informed on federal regulations and credit union procedures

Required skills

  • At least one year of related experience or 12 months in an MSR role
  • High energy and strong sales ability
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer applications, spreadsheets, and word processing
  • Ability to problem solve and maintain composure under pressure
  • Must be bondable and registered under the S.A.F.E Act
  • High school diploma or equivalent
