Overview

The Member Benefit Executive at GreenState Credit Union is responsible for acquiring and enriching member relationships while providing exceptional service through both web and phone channels. This role involves counseling applicants on loan and deposit products and requires a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards
  • Provides positive member service internally and externally
  • Ensures confidentiality of member information
  • Opens share accounts and consumer loans via phone and web applications
  • Educates members on financial choices and recommends appropriate products
  • Interviews members for credit union products and makes recommendations
  • Conducts outbound sales calls to existing and potential members
  • Meets expected service levels for member wait time and accuracy
  • Keeps abreast of Credit Union product and procedure changes
  • Participates in community service organizations and credit union events

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years of financial experience
  • Sales ability and strong interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy in handling transactions and inquiries
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of consumer loan and deposit policies
  • Excellent communication skills via phone and web
  • Strong computer and telephone system operation skills
  • Registered pursuant to S.A.F.E. Act requirements
