Overview

The Member Benefit Executive at GreenState Credit Union is responsible for acquiring and enhancing member relationships through exceptional service via phone and web communication. This role involves interviewing and counseling applicants for loan and deposit products while abiding by the credit union's core values and service standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a positive member service focus at all times
  • Open various types of share accounts and consumer loans
  • Educate members about their financial choices and recommend appropriate products
  • Make outbound sales calls to existing and potential members
  • Ensure confidentiality of member information
  • Meet expected service levels for member wait time and accuracy
  • Participate in community service organizations and credit union sponsored events
  • Adhere to all state, federal, and credit union regulations and policies

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years of financial experience
  • Sales ability and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy in handling transactions and inquiries
  • Excellent communication skills via phone and web
  • Knowledge of consumer loan and deposit policies
  • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with credit union products and procedures
  • Must be bondable and registered pursuant to the S.A.F.E. Act
