In this role, you will deliver exceptional member service, providing personalized financial advice and connecting members with the right products and services.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct transactions with precision and efficiency
  • Offer insightful budget counseling and financial advice
  • Follow procedures for daily operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Resolve member issues professionally and efficiently
  • Engage in referral and cross-selling opportunities to meet sales goals
  • Deliver service aligned with organizational service promises
  • Build rapport through effective communication to meet member needs
  • Address discrepancies and proactively boost member satisfaction
  • Support team communication and contribute to branch events
  • Maximize member value by utilizing product knowledge
  • Engage in continuous learning for personal and team development

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years in a retail or customer service role in the financial industry
  • Strong grasp of retail and Credit Union products and services
  • Proven track record in sales and service excellence
  • Loan training and understanding of lending principles (preferred)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Analytical skills for informed decision-making
  • Skill in maintaining positive relationships with management, peers, and vendors
