It has been focused on developing mid to high efficiency filtration media since its creation in 2021. KJ Filtration is a highly regarded filtration media manufacturer and Suncoast Distribution is it exclusive distributor in the Americase are hiring a Meltblown Operator at our Largo, FL location. We are searching for individuals who are dependable, responsible and quality-minded who have a history of working safely in a manufacturing environment.ualified candidates will need to be flexible in terms of work schedule and work assignment. Must have excellent attendance, attitude and be motivated. The Meltblown Operator will report directly to the Department Supervisor and/or the Departmental Area Leader.Candidates must show the desire and the ability to learn. Excellent attendance, attitude and motivation must be demonstrated to advance to the next level. Advancement can be faster upon Supervisor discretion.Responsibilities will include:Read and understand production schedulePackage per customer specificationsOperate winderLoad additivesHandle, wrap and label rolls without damaging productCut and transport samples to quality control labOperate hoist and scaleClean machinery and feed systemsInspect, load and clean screen changerChange front and back spunbondThread a lineSetup for a purgePerform basic QC tests (Efficiency, Pressure Drop, Strength and basis weight)Operate core cutterClean inlet air screens and vacuum systemSetup and adjust knives and water spray - all linesCome to work consistently and on timeFollow and Accept both written and verbal commandsRudimentary mechanical skillsCommunicate to peers and supervisorsPerform any tasks assigned by supervisor or area leadPosition Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentMechanical experience a plusLift 50 lbs.Certified to operate fork truckComputer skills such as labeling software and SAPExceptional reading, writing, listening and mathematic skillsBenefitsKJ Filtration USA LLC offers a wide range of benefits to employees.
