Mimbres Memorial Hospital is seeking a Medical Technologist to work evening shifts from 4pm to 2am in Deming, NM, with a $25,000 sign-on bonus for new hires who commit for two years. The hospital serves the southwestern New Mexico community by providing a variety of healthcare services, and this role involves performing routine blood tests and preparing specimens.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform manual and automated routine blood tests
  • Prepare specimens for microscope laboratory equipment
  • Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Required skills

  • MLT degree from an accredited college or university in a Laboratory Field
  • MT-BS degree in Medical Technology or biological/chemical sciences
  • ASCP certification or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control
