Overview

Mimbres Memorial Hospital is seeking a Medical Technologist for evening shifts from 4pm to 2am, who will be relocating to Deming, NM. This role involves performing routine blood tests and preparing specimens for laboratory equipment in a community-focused medical environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform manual and automated routine blood tests
  • Prepare specimens for microscope laboratory equipment
  • Utilize centrifuges and dry bath incubators
  • Plan and accomplish laboratory goals based on experience and judgment

Required skills

  • Associated Degree from an accredited college in Medical Laboratory Sciences or related field
  • MT-BS degree in Medical Technology or biological/chemical sciences
  • ASCP Certification or equivalent preferred
  • Familiarity with standard laboratory concepts and practices
