Overview

SSM Health is looking for a Medical Physicist to join their Radiation Oncology team in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. This hybrid role focuses on improving patient outcomes through precision and safety in cancer care, while collaborating closely with healthcare professionals in a supportive and mission-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and validate radiation treatment plans for accuracy
  • Participate in chart rounds and clinical reviews
  • Oversee calibration, testing, and performance of radiation therapy equipment
  • Evaluate equipment lifecycle and recommend upgrades
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Consult with physicians and provide technical guidance to clinical staff
  • Support training and education of new staff and students
  • Maintain meticulous documentation

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Medical Physics
  • Board certified or board eligible in Medical Physics
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines
  • Experience in radiation oncology technology and protocols
