Overview

The Medical Marketing Communications Manager is a key member of the Canadian vaccines marketing team responsible for developing and executing tactical marketing plans across the vaccine portfolio. This role focuses on brand management, medical content creation, and collaboration with various stakeholders to boost vaccine awareness and uptake among healthcare professionals, public health officials, advocacy groups, and patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned to brand strategy.
  • Provide decision support for commercial assessments and product forecasting.
  • Collaborate with promotional review committees to develop and refine promotional content.
  • Analyze marketing initiative effectiveness and recommend optimizations.
  • Lead field sales training efforts and develop sales content strategy.
  • Create communication plans for various customer segments.
  • Transform complex scientific information into clear pharmaceutical brand copy.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with PAAB/ASC guidelines.
  • Support market research and monitor competitive landscapes.
  • Manage multiple projects ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in a scientific discipline, preferably health sciences.
  • 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing or related fields.
  • Experience with PAAB and ASC submissions and Canadian promotional regulations.
  • Strong medical writing and editing skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate scientific information clearly.
  • Experience using AI tools for content development.
