Overview

The Medical Marketing Communications Manager plays a crucial role in the Canadian vaccines marketing team, focusing on developing and executing marketing plans across the vaccine portfolio. The position blends brand management, medical content development, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance awareness and uptake among various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and government officials.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns in line with brand strategy.
  • Provide decision support for commercial assessments and brand planning.
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders to develop and refine promotional content.
  • Analyze marketing initiatives for effectiveness and recommend optimizations.
  • Develop tactical communication plans for diverse customer segments.
  • Create, edit, and proofread high-quality pharmaceutical brand copy.
  • Conduct market research to inform brand and campaign strategies.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in a scientific discipline, preferably health sciences
  • 5-7 years of pharmaceutical marketing or relevant experience
  • Extensive experience with PAAB and ASC submissions
  • Demonstrated medical writing expertise
  • Strong project management skills
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Proven ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly
  • Leadership capability and stakeholder influence
  • Experience using AI tools for content development
