Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Associate Attorney to join their Medical Malpractice team in Stamford, Connecticut. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to develop expertise in medical malpractice and healthcare provider litigation while working in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload focused on medical malpractice claims
  • Collaborate with attorneys, team members, and partners on legal projects
  • Attend court appearances, depositions, motion hearings, and legal proceedings
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing case updates and proactive solutions
  • Draft and review complex legal documents, including pleadings and motions
  • Contribute to case strategies and assist in trial preparations

Required skills

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in NY
  • Minimum of 2 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice or healthcare defense
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
