Overview

Herriman Emergency Center is looking for a Medical Lab Scientist FSER to provide laboratory testing and operational support in a Free Standing Emergency Department. The role involves performing waived and moderate-complexity tests to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment while ensuring compliance with laboratory policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform waived and moderate-complexity laboratory testing
  • Collect, process, and analyze patient specimens
  • Accurately document and communicate test results
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver patient care
  • Answer and direct telephone calls and assist patients and visitors
  • Monitor and control access through the facility entrance
  • Complete clerical and administrative tasks
  • Provide exceptional customer service
