Job Description

Overview

Research Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Lab Scientist to conduct routine and complex laboratory tests for patient diagnosis and treatment. The role involves performing various laboratory procedures and maintaining quality results to ensure the highest patient care standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform chemical, hematology, serological, immunohematology, and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections
  • Produce accurate results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and other designated areas
  • Maintain quality results by running standards and controls, calibrating equipment, and monitoring quality control measures

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in laboratory science or related science required
  • Registry/certification as a medical technologist (MT/MLS) or equivalent required
  • Experience preferred
