The ideal candidate will have experience working insurance accounts receivable, resolving claim denials, and following up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment of claims.Benefits Available To You:Joining our team means more than just a job-it means access to benefits designed to support your health, well-being, and work-life balance.Health coverage + Sick-N-Well membershipHealth Savings Account (HSA)Life insurancePaid time off401(k) plan + 4% company matchRelax Scofa membershipEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee Recognition ProgramAnd more!What You'll Do:Review and work insurance aging reports dailyFollow up with insurance companies on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claimsResearch and resolve claim denials and rejectionsCorrect and rebill claims as necessaryVerify claim status, eligibility, authorizations, and payment informationPost claim notes and maintain accurate account documentationIdentify billing trends and report recurring issues to managementWork closely with providers and staff to obtain needed documentation or correctionsEnsure claims are processed in compliance with insurance guidelines and company policiesMeet daily productivity and quality expectationsAssist with payment reconciliation and identifying missing EOBs when needed Requirements: Qualities That Make You A Great Fit:Previous experience in medical billing and insurance A/R preferredKnowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billingUnderstanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and modifier usageExperience with denial management and claim correctionsFamiliarity with EMR/EHR and billing systems (eClinicalWorks experience preferred)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience working aging reports and high-volume claim follow-upKnowledge of insurance appeal processesAbility to improve workflow efficiency and identify billing issues proactivelyStrong teamwork and professionalismWork Environment & Schedule:This position is located on-site at our corporate office in Crystal River, FloridaThe typical schedule is full-time Monday-FridayAll employment offers at PedIM Healthcare are contingent upon the successful completion of applicable background checks, verification of credentials, and compliance with health and safety requirements.
