Overview

L.E. Cox Medical Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant III or LPN in Endocrinology to perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a provider. The role includes managing medical records, scheduling appointments, and directly supporting patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records
  • Take and record vital signs and medical histories
  • Prepare patients for examination
  • Draw blood
  • Collaborate with supervisors and providers to carry out delegated tasks

Required skills

  • Graduated from a formal MA training program or hold an accredited LPN Diploma
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Certification from a recognized program (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or LPN)
  • Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire
