The Medical Assistant III / LPN - Endocrinology position at L.E. Cox Medical Centers involves performing both administrative and clinical duties under the supervision of a provider. Candidates can either be Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Medical Assistants, with responsibilities including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations.

  • Draw blood under provider supervision

Required skills

  • Graduated from formal MA training program or accredited LPN diploma
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Certification as CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or LPN
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
