Overview

The Medical Assistant Apprentice program at L.E. Cox Medical Centers offers a hands-on, paid training opportunity for individuals pursuing a career in healthcare. Participants will undergo a 16-week accelerated course that includes both classroom and clinical experiences, leading to an MA certification and potential employment at CoxHealth Clinics upon graduation.

Key responsibilities

  • Observe and perform hands-on tasks under the guidance of preceptors
  • Apply for Medical Assistant positions at CoxHealth clinics upon program completion
