Safe Harbor Wills & Trusts is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented person to join our Medicaid planning team.This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with numbers, financial records, checklists, and solving puzzles.You do not need to already be a Medicaid expert. We will teach you the rules. What we need is someone who can learn them, follow a process, and apply those rules carefully to each client's situation.Compensation- $45,000-$50,000 DOE, Health Insurance, 401(k), Life Insurance, Paid Vacation, Training and DevelopmentCompensation:$45,000 - $50,000 DOEResponsibilities:Review bank statements and other financial recordsTrack deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactionsGather and organize financial information from clientsIdentify missing information or documentationFollow established checklists and proceduresLearn New York Medicaid eligibility rulesWork with our attorneys to help families qualify for Medicaid while legally protecting as many assets as possibleKeep files organized and moving forwardQualifications:Comfortable working with all Microsoft Office products Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times Applicants must have excellent communication skills and organizational skills Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required Extremely organizedComfortable working with numbers and financial documentsDetail-oriented and accurateGood at following a processPersistent about getting missing informationComfortable learning rules and applying them to real-life situationsAble to manage several files and deadlines at the same timeExperience in banking, bookkeeping, accounting, financial services, insurance, legal offices, healthcare administration, or similar detail-heavy work can be especially helpful.Medicaid experience is a plus, but not required.Training is available for the right candidate.
