Overview

The Med Equip Delivery Educator at L.E. Cox Medical Centers is responsible for the delivery, set-up, and education of durable medical equipment and supplies within various settings, including customer homes, clinics, and hospitals. This role provides 24-hour support to Home Support customers and involves effective communication and problem-solving.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver and set up durable medical equipment and supplies
  • Provide education to customers on equipment usage
  • Triage calls effectively for Home Support customers
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies and policies
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Manage inventory and keep work area organized
  • Stay updated on respiratory and DME equipment trends
  • Implement safety principles and lifting techniques
  • Utilize formal communication structures for problem solving
  • Incorporate data to improve care delivery
