Overview

The Mechanical Project Coordinator at U.S. Tsubaki will play a crucial role in managing mechanical projects, including the layout, fabrication, and installation of piping systems and steel structures. With over eight years of experience in the mechanical trades, the coordinator will be responsible for overseeing construction personnel, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining budgetary constraints while effectively communicating with management and clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform layout, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical components
  • Oversee installation of steel structures and piping systems
  • Manage construction personnel including FTEs, Sub-Contractors, and Temps
  • Communicate labor hours and performance metrics to Upper Management
  • Conduct quality audits on all work performed on site
  • Review and approve purchase requests from field staff
  • Prepare accurate bills of material for Project Managers and Clients
  • Ensure safety compliance on site according to instructions from Safety Personnel
