Overview

REV Copack, a key player in the beverage co-packing industry, is looking for a dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the Morning MID SHIFT (3PM-11PM) in Pittston, PA. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and minimizing downtime, contributing to the overall efficiency of the facility.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on production machinery
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and execute repairs promptly
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams for compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs and report on machine performance
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and production efficiency
  • Work the assigned shift from 3PM to 11PM

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in mechanical maintenance preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in beverage production
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and safety regulations
  • Dependable team player with the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to work the 3PM-11PM shift consistently
  • Ability to lift and handle mechanical parts and equipment
