Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEntry-Level Heavy Equipment MechanicPay Rate: $15-$17 / hr.Location: Conroe, TX 77030Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with disassembly and reassembly of haul trucks and componentsSupport repairs on engines, wheel motors, and electric drive systemsPerform basic inspections and follow detailed work instructions, both written and oralUse hand and power tools safely and effectivelyMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety policies and proceduresMinimum Requirements1-2 years mechanic experience or recent Technical School graduateHigh school diploma or GED (preferred)Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience (automotive, equipment, or similar)Ability to safely use standard hand toolsWillingness to learn and follow instructionsDependable with a strong focus on safetySelected candidate must meet background check, drug screen and MVR pre-employment requirementsValid Texas Driver's LicensePreferred QualificationsTechnical or trade school training (diesel, heavy equipment, or related field)Exposure to heavy equipment, mining equipment, or industrial maintenanceBasic understanding of electrical systemsExperience with power tools, forklifts, or overhead cranesWork Environment / Physical RequirementsShop-based heavy equipment remanufacturing and rebuild environmentAbility to lift and handle heavy components and tooling (up to 75 lbs.)Ability to work with overhead cranes, rigging equipment, and large assembliesAbility to stand, bend, climb, and work around large mining equipment componentsCompany DescriptionToday's job market is ultra-complex.
