Coach USA is seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Janesville, Wisconsin. The role involves repairing and inspecting company equipment efficiently and safely while working a four-day week after initial training.
Key responsibilities
Perform basic, routine, and preventative maintenance bus repairs
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other breakdowns or failures
Repair or replace malfunctioning components and parts
Collaborate with other diesel mechanics on repairs
Demonstrate skills in advanced testing of vehicle systems
Participate in required maintenance training programs
Complete test drives to ensure vehicles run correctly and safely
Follow all safety rules and regulations
Required skills
Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain it
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an automotive or diesel technician
Computer diagnostic skills
Possess own tools for maintenance tasks
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Willingness to work weekends and holidays
